Clay in the Potter's Hand

Isaiah 64:8

But now, O Lord, thou art our father;

we are the clay, and thou our potter;

and we all are the work of thy hand.

Jeremiah 18:1-6

The word which came to Jeremiah from the Lord, saying, Arise, and go down to the potter's house, and there I will cause thee to hear my words. Then I went down to the potter's house, and, behold, he wrought a work on the wheels. And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it. Then the word of the Lord came to me, saying, O house of Israel, cannot I do with you as this potter? saith the Lord. Behold, as the clay is in the potter's hand, so are ye in mine hand, O house of Israel.

Walk in the Light

Isaiah 2:5

O house of Jacob, come ye,

and let us walk in the light of the Lord.

God Our Strength

Isaiah 25:4

For thou hast been a strength to the poor, a strength to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shadow from the heat, when the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall.

God Draws You

Jeremiah 31:3-4

The Lord hath appeared of old unto me, saying,

Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love:

therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.

Again I will build thee, and thou shalt be built, O virgin of Israel:

thou shalt again be adorned with thy tabrets,

and shalt go forth in the dances of them that make merry.

Wisdom

2 wisdoms, YOU choose!!!   JAMES 3:13-18  Who is wise and understanding among you?  Let him show by good conduct that his works are done in the meekness of wisdom. But if you have bitter envy and self-seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth. This wisdom does not descend from above, but is earthly, sensual, demonic. But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy.  Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.

Deuteronomy 6:5
