King of Glory

"Great and marvelous are Your works, Lord God Almighty! Just and true are Your ways, O King of the saints! Who shall not fear You, O Lord, and glorify Your name? For You alone are Holy. For all nations shall come and worship before You, For Your  judgments have been manifested."

This is a song from the book of Revelation Chapter 15. This song describes the character of our King! What wonderful words to remember and have hidden in our hearts. When reading this, we are reminded of God's might, sovereignty, glory, and judgment. He is an all powerful God.
We can worship Him with our daily lives and sing songs that glorify Him in our heart of hearts!
Lets give Him praise with our lives today and forevermore!

Be Thankful for One Another

"But we are bound to give thanks to God always for you, brethren beloved by The Lord, because God from the beginning chose you to salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth." 2 Thessalonians 3:13

The Lord chose us! He saved us and brought us together as sisters in Christ. Are we truly thankful for one another? We affect each others lives very much. We should walk as Jonathan did with David. Jonathan was faithful to David to the end. When David was in the wilderness, Jonathan came and strengthened David's hand in The Lord! We can be that for each other. Be thankful for each sister that The Lord has allowed into your life and bless them. Let's rejoice in the salvation of our Lord together!

Obedience

We just finished studying Saul's life last night at Women's study.

Saul started out well and then lost everything including his life because of not obeying the Lord. He had a lot of "potential" to be a great king. He followed his own ways and what he thought the Lord wanted, instead of what God had actually said to him. He was given command after command and only did partially what the Lord asked him to do. Partial obedience is not obedience. His life was marked as disobedient. What is your life marked as? obedient or disobedient?

As you walk with the Lord listen closely to what He is telling you in His Word. Follow Him with all of your heart and do what He is asking completely. Have a life marked by obedience!!!

1 Corinthians 10:11 Now all these things happened to them as examples, and they were written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the ages have come.

For more study on Saul's life read 1 Samuel.

Surrender

Surrender: To yield; to give up; to resign in favor of another; as,to surrender a right or privilege; to surrender a place or an office.to obey

Jesus at the Garden of Gethsemane
Luke 22:42 Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.

Jesus going to the Cross
Isaiah 53:7 He was oppressed, and He was afflicted, yet He opened not His mouth: He is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so He opened not his mouth.

Jesus on Cross
Philippians 2:8 And being found in fashion as a man, He humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

Not Your Own
1 Corinthians 6:19-20   What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

We do not belong to ourselves,we were bought with the precious blood of Christ, He willing laid down His life for us, will we do the same?

Will we today willing surrender our everything:our very lives,our rights,our,time,our needs,our wants,our husbands,our children,our jobs,our personal comforts; to our loving,merciful,compassionate,forgiving,all knowing Jesus?

Will we allow our will to be broken that all that is seen in our lives would be a surrendered life to Jesus, no matter where He leads,no matter what He allows into our lives?

Jesus loves us, has our very best interest at heart, lives forever to make intercession for us, He allows us the breath of life.

Today will we fall into the arms of love?

The Peace of God

"Peace I leave with you, My peace I give you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let it be afraid." John 14:27

"These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world" John 16:33

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything in prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your request be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses ALL understanding, will guard your hearts and minds Through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7

The Bible tells us that Jesus is our peace. In Isaiah 9:6 refers to Him as the Prince of Peace. Life can be chaotic and stressful. We need the peace of God to walk a victorious Christian life.
Psalm 34:14 says, "Depart from evil and do good; Seek peace and pursue it." Be encouraged to crucify the flesh daily and seek the peace of God. If there's confusion in your life, pray for The Lord to reveal to you where the confusion is coming from. We all know that the world, our flesh, and Satan will not produce peace in our lives. We need The Lord ladies. Seek Him and rest in the peace that He has promised you! "

And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful." Colossians 3:15

Be of Good Courage

Joshua 1:7-9 "Only be strong and very courageous, that you may observe to do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may prosper wherever you go. "This Book of the Law shall not depart from you mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe to do according to what is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go."

Wow! What an encouragement and exhortation from the Lord! We have the whole counsel of God; everything that we need for life and godliness. We must meditate on the word and have it hidden in our heart. Our lives will prosper and flourish from being with the Lord and walking in His commandments. We will be a reflection of Him, if we don't stray from the word He has given to us. He, throughout scripture, promises us victory. Through our obedience to Him and His word, He promises us good success.

Ask the Lord today to bring to remembrance the things He has taught you. Be of good courage; He's with you wherever you go!

What are we seeking?

But you, o man ( woman) of God, flee these things and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, gentleness. 1 Timothy 6:11.

We, as Christian women, should be fleeing harmful lusts. If we're not careful we'll stray from the faith. The Lord gives us the strength to walk in what He's called us to. He has a different plan for us than the plan that the world is following. People see our lives daily. What are they seeing us pursue? There's so much out there for us to be tempted into following. It's a must that we're walking closely with The Lord. He has set us apart ladies! Let's be different than the world by following Him.

Romans 12:9 says, "Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good."

He is good. His word is good. He is calling us to walk in repentance today!
