The Best is Yet to Come

Tell me Saints did these have their "best life NOW?''
the Best is Yet to COME!!!

HEBREWS 13-16
These all DIED in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off were ASSURED of them, embraced them and confessed that they were STRANGERS and PILGRIMS on the earth. For those who say such things declare plainly that they seek a homeland. And truly if they had called to mind that country from which they had come out, they would have had opportunity to return. But now they desire a better, that is, a HEAVENLY country. Therefore GOD is not ashamed to be called their GOD, for HE has prepared a city for them.
HEBREWS 11:35b- 40
Others were tortured, not accepting deliverance, that they might obtain a BETTER resurrection. Still others had trial of mockings and scourgings, yes, and of chains and imprisonment.They were stoned, they were sawn in two, were tempted,were slain with the sword. They wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins, being destitute, afflicted, tormented— OF WHOM THE WORLD WAS NOT WORTHY. They wandered in deserts and mountains, in dens and caves of the earth. And ALL these, having obtained a good testimony through faith, did not receive the promise, GOD having provided something better for us, that they should not be made perfect apart from us.

Proverb a Day!!

Why Read a Proverb a Day!
The proverbs of Solomon the son of David, king of Israel:
To know wisdom and instruction,
To perceive the words of understanding,
To receive the instruction of wisdom, Justice, judgment, and equity;
To give prudence to the simple,
To the young man knowledge and discretion--
A wise man will hear and increase learning, And a man of understanding will attain wise counsel,
To understand a proverb and an enigma, The words of the wise and their riddles.
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, But fools despise wisdom and instruction...Proverbs 1:1-7

Psalm 103:12

The Lord removes our sins from us continually and faithfully, the bible says: As far as the east is from the west, So far has He removed our transgressions from us.
Psalms 103:12 NKJV

Why do I recall hurt from the past in an argument or when I again feel hurt by someone, I rehash a past transgression?!

Heavenly Father, please, help me to let go of others transgressions against me. If someone has hurt me in the past, help me to be gracious and forgiving. Stop me from looking to the past. If it's forgiven, it is removed. Help me to forgive seven times seventy-seven!! Help me forgive and love as you.
In Jesus' name Amen!!

Reconciliation

Can't Believers deal with Believers?

Dare any of you, having a matter against another, go to law before the unrighteous, and not before the saints? 1 CORINTHIANS 6.

MATTHEW 18:15-17 “Moreover if your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone. If he hears you, you have gained your brother.“But if he will not hear, take with you one or two more, that ‘by the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.’“And if he refuses to hear them, tell it to the church. But if he refuses even to hear the church, let him be to you like a heathen and a tax collector. For RECONCILIATION!!!

Thirst

John 4:13-14
13 Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again:
14 But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.

Psalm 1

Psalms 1

Psalms
Blessed is the man
that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly,
nor standeth in the way of sinners,
nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
But his delight is in the law of the Lord;
and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water,
that bringeth forth his fruit in his season;
his leaf also shall not wither;
and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
The ungodly are not so:
but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.
Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment,
nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
For the Lord knoweth the way of the righteous:
but the way of the ungodly shall perish.

Be filled with the Holy Spirit

Acts 2:1-4

And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

God our strength

Isaiah 25:4-5

For thou hast been a strength to the poor,
a strength to the needy in his distress,
a refuge from the storm, a shadow from the heat, when the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall.
Thou shalt bring down the noise of strangers,
as the heat in a dry place;
even the heat with the shadow of a cloud:
the branch of the terrible ones shall be brought low.
