Pray and ask the Holy Spirit to teach you all He wants you
to receive into your heart and your life.
Please read Psalm 1 and as you read, pay attention to the
verbs in the Psalm. Write down what the Lord speaks to your heart.
Contrast the godly from the ungodly. What are they each
like?

Look at verse 1: What
are you as a believer not to do?
It is so important who you take counsel from. Think on when
you have received counsel. Where have you gotten it from? The World or from
God? What steps will you take to seek counsel from God if you have never done
so before? What steps will you keep taking to ensure that you will stay in the
counsel of God?
New Testament application: Read Colossians 3:16 , 2 Timothy 3:15 ,
Luke 11:28 , Revelation 22:14 . When you read the applications think on
Psalm 1 and all that God is showing you.
